Frequently asked questions professional translation
1. How long does it take to get a quote?
You will have it in a couple of hours provided that you have sent me the file with the text that you need to have translated and you state, if you already know it, when you need the translation for.

Of course, the request of a quote does not involve engagement of any type. I send you the quote and you take a decision.

If you accept, you must send me an email showing your approval as soon as possible so that your translation can still be a top priority and that the deadline does not have to be agreed on again.
2. Can you give me a quote if I do not send you the original?
Unfortunately, even if you tell me the number of pages and type of text, I cannot give you an exact quote until I get to see and analyze the original.

If you send me the text, I will give you a close quote, without any surprises. If you do not, the quote will be only approximate.
3. How will you send me the translation?
Sworn translations are sent by post. It is also possible to send them by courier service, but the client will bear the costs.
4. How shall I pay?
If the amount is greater than 150 Euros, I request half of the payment when the assignment is accepted and the 50% left in the 24 hours following the sending.

If is is lower than that amount, you must pay the whole price 24 heures after its reception. In the case of regular customers, another policy of payment can be agreed on. IMPORTANT: if a translation assignment already is cancelled, it must still be paid.
5. Do you offer a service of urgent translation?
Yes, of course. An urgent translation is the one you need in 48 hours, at weekends, bank holidays, or the one entailing translating more than 2000 words per day, that means, the work of more than one translator. This translation has a 20% additional charge.
6. Is there a minimum rate?
If the document has less than 400 words, I will charge the minimum rate (30 Euros).
If it is a sworn translation, this minimum rate is 35 Euros.

I am at your disposal should you have any doubt or additional comments.
